2014-2015
• A special talk on 'Introduction to Fractals' was organized by the department of mathematics on 10.03.2015. Mr. Jomy Punalal, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, University college, Trivandrum was the resource person.
2015-2016
• Tourism club conducted a quiz competition on 29.2.2016. Prasanth M., and Anju L. Jayan of I DC Mathematics won the prize
• ‘Ganitha -2016’ – a manuscript published by Department of Mathematics
• A two day fest 'Aacharya 2K-16' focusing on special talks, paper presentations and quiz competition was organized by the Department of Mathematics on IQAC Report 2015-2016 Page 14 11.03.2016 and 14.03.2016. Dr. V. Wilfred, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, Central University of Kerala & Dr. Shibu K. Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Psychology, Govt. College for Women, Trivandrum and Mr. Jomy Punalal, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, University College, Tvpm were the resource persons. A manuscript titled 'Ganitha-2016' was also released.
• On 29.9.2015 the students of the department of Mathematics provided food packets to the mentally retarded inmates of 'Providence Home', Killy, Trivandrum
• III DC students and the faculty of the Department of Mathematics visited rehabilitation centre for the mentally retarded on 29.9.2015. Financial help was given to the members, collected from the students and faculty

2016-2017
2017-2018
• A handwritten manuscript titled ‘Mathluster- 2018’ by the Department of Mathematics was released on 23.3.2018
• On 10/09/2017 the Department of Mathematics organised a seminar on “Introduction to LaTeX and Python” for the students of Madhava Kavi Memorial Govt. Arts and Science College, Malayinkeezhu.
• A seminar on ‘Aacharya 2K18’ was organised by the Department of Mathematics on 23.3.2018. Mr. Sreenu C.S., Assistant Professor in Mathematics, University College was the resource person delivered a talk on ‘Open source software for higher mathematics’
